Soybean fabric is soft, smooth, lustrous, and light. It has cashmere feel, but is smoother than cashmere. It absorbs moisture like cotton, but does not retain it so strongly, making it more comfortable to wear. Soybean fabric is stronger than wool and almost as good as wool in terms of warmth retention. Go ahead and machine wash your soybean clothes, but it's better to air dry them because high heat will damage the protein structure.
