This Ecobaby mattress has a natural rubber core wrapped with organic O-Wool puddle pad fabric. Because of the dense, extremely water-resistant wool layer this mattress does not require a waterproof mattress pad to protect it from leaky diapers. Wool is also important because it provides natural flame retardance, bacterial resistance and dust mite control. Wool also provides natural cooling and moisture wicking. Your infant will stay at his normal comfortable temperature!

Natural rubber forms the core of this mattress, creating a firm, durable mattress. EcoBaby's uses only Latex Green natural rubber cores. After many years of research, they have determined that these cores are the most natural in existence. No artificial vanillin (petrochemical) and no fillers as found in Talalay natural rubber cores. No benzene, toluene, or pthalates as found in many other Dunlop processed natural rubber. Passes all safety regulations and CPSC guidelines.

Only O-Wool is used to make this soft, natural mattress. O-Wool is 100% certified organic Merino wool. The happy sheep range in large areas and are fed a good diet.

 

This mattress is 1.5 inches thick - just right to replace the conventional mattress that comes with many baby beds.  If you would like to have a custom mattress made that is 3" thick, instead of the standard 1.5" thickness, please choose "yes" on the "Extra Thick" option.  Please note that custom mattresses will be ready to ship in approximately 2 weeks.

 

Care instructions:
Spot clean with natural soaps and cold water. Consider using with a quilted cotton mattress pad for surface absorbtion of any messes.
