EcoBaby Portacrib/Co-sleeper Mattress Pad Solution - Set of Three

Outfit your portacrib or original/universal co-sleeper mattress with this complete mattress pad solution!  Included in this set are two organic cotton quilted pads and one wool puddle pad.  This is all you should need to protect your natural (non-waterproof) mini co-sleeper mattress - sold at a discount as a set! 

 

Each pad is 26 x 37.  Since these are flat, non-fitted pads the size can be a little bit off and still work wonderfully.  A few inches too big will protect the side of the mattress!  A few inches too small and just shift it towards where baby lays. 

 

First, cover that mattress with the wool puddle pad  Each puddle pad is 1/8" layer of moisture resistant untreated wool. The wool acts as a virtually waterproof layer, so that messes sit on top.  Wool rarely needs washing because bacteria and mold do not grow on wool. Wool naturally resists mildew, bacteria and dust mites. You may wash your wool puddle pad in "Hand Wash" or "Delicate" with cool water. Be sure to hang dry, and not in direct sunlight. Dries within hours.

 

Second, cover the puddle pad in one of the quilted cotton pads.  The machine wash/dry quilted cotton pad is a comfortable top layer that also absorbs messes.  When baby has an accident, you will usually only need to wash the quilted cotton pad.  Your second quilted cotton pad can be placed on the mattress in the meantime, while you are washing the soiled pad.
