Haba's Cathedral blocks are a clever wooden block set that promotes creativity and categorical thinking. There are 18 pieces in gradually increasing sizes: 6 arches, 6 semi-circles and 6 triangles. Children can use the Cathedral blocks to build freely: on top of each other, next to each other, one behind the other. The small houses can convert into a village, a colorful cathedral or a tower. Bright, engaging colors are attained with Haba's water based, non-toxic stains, not with dangerous lead paints like some children's blocks.
About Haba
Since 1938, Haba has stood for top quality, product reliability and environmental consciousness. Their quality management has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996. As a corporation, Haba has passed the Environment Standard ISO 14001, and they hold to a policy of active protection of the environment - in every phase of production.
Haba uses primarily indigenous maple and beech wood and water-based paints for their toys. They also use fabric, felt, leather, cardboard and glass. The vast majority of Haba's designers' ideas are put into practice in their own workshops in Germany. From the cut-out to assembly their products are manufactured at the Bad Rodach site, where a workforce of some 500 specialists produces Haba wooden toys and furniture.
Haba is extremely concerned with the quality and safety of their toys. They focus on the careful selection and processing of all materials. All Haba toys comply with European Standard EN 71 "Toy Safety." And whenever necessary their products are checked by authorized, independent institutes to ensure their safety.
