Haba Trix Manipulative Toy

Trix is a classic baby toy made by Haba of Germany.  Six rainbow wooden triangles are threaded together on a sturdy elastic cord, which allows for twisting so they can "bloom" open and take on a variety of geometric shapes.  Trix is a fun manipulative toy that's also suitable for teething.

 

This baby toy is crafted with sturdy beech and maple wood.  Bright, engaging colors are attained with Haba's water based, non-toxic stains - because lead paints are simply inexcusable. Measures 4" across the longest portion.

Haba uses primarily indigenous maple and beech wood and water-based paints for their toys. They also use fabric, felt, leather, cardboard and glass.  The vast majority of Haba's designers' ideas are put into practice in their own workshops in Germany. From the cut-out to assembly their products are manufactured at the Bad Rodach site, where a workforce of some 500 specialists produces Haba wooden toys and furniture. 

Haba is extremely concerned with the quality and safety of their toys.  They focus on the careful selection and processing of all materials. All Haba toys comply with European Standard EN 71 "Toy Safety." And whenever necessary their products are checked by authorized, independent institutes to ensure their safety.
