Why Hotslings?
A fitted pouch sling is much easier to use than most other carriers. There are no fasteners or hardware to worry about and the streamlined design is geared toward the comfort of both the parent and the baby. Hotslings pouches have minimal padding so they’re extremely compact and easy to carry. They also allow you the flexibility of moving the baby around on your body quickly and easily from front to hip to back with no adjusting, unbuckling or retying. Most importantly, sling carriers like Hotslings encourage parent/child bonding and enhance attachment parenting.
Fit
Please
click to consult the size chart for sizing. When baby is being worn, the bottom of your pouch should hang just below your belly button.
If you are still pregnant, keep in mind that there should be some room in the pouch between your belly and the outer rail. You should be able to open it a few inches. Once the baby is born, your belly will be shrinking quickly.
If you put your baby in and it’s pulling tight and feels uncomfortable we suggest you try a larger sling. However, if the bottom of the pouch is lower than your belly button, that indicates you may need a smaller sling. The fit around the baby should be snug and create a womb-like, swaddled feeling.
