Klean Kanteen's colored sippy cups are stainless steel, just like the silver ones. The exterior is painted with a non-toxic, lead-free paint designed for this purpose.
The Klean Kanteen Sippy Cup is a reusable, lightweight and risk-free 12oz stainless steel bottle designed for small hands. It comes with a sippy adapter made from safe, non-leaching polypropylene (pp#5) and 2 green spouts. Weighs 4 ounces.
The spouts are manufactured by Avent and feature a non-spill, easy flow valve. I love how reliable these valves are. They are the only sippy spout I've found that doesn't leak at all. The Avent spouts are made of FDA approved Evoprene and Polypropylene and contain no phthalates.
Because the Klean Kanteen sippy is designed to work with Avent spouts, it will also accept Avent nipples or the Avent soft sippy spout, an ideal choice for 6-12 months. The flexibility to go from bottle to sippy cup is a great feature!
When your child has moved on from the sippy cup stage, use a flat cap (sold separately) to turn your Klean Kanteen sippy cup into a stainless steel water bottle.
