Polyethylene is an environmentally friendly plastic used for its purity and non-toxic properties. The polyethylene cover provides the ultimate non-toxic waterproof and stain resistant mattress cover, while eliminating the need for a dust mite barrier cover, since it is already hypoallergenic.
