This diaper cover is simply the best. Pure, organic merino wool is extra soft, super breathable and not bulky like fleece or regular wool covers. Some babies just can't handle synthetics on their bottom. The lack of breathability from a disposable diaper or even a BumGenius cloth diaper can cause rash. Unlike PUL plastic waterproof diaper covers (like on BumGenius diapers), wool diaper covers are too thick to use snaps to adjust the rise. Because of this limitation, this wool diaper cover comes in four sizes. Small is for 6-12 lbs, Medium is for 12-18 lbs, Large is for 18-28 lbs and Extra-large is for 28 lbs until potty training. Most babies will be in size small for only 1-2 months and will be in size large for the longest amount of time.
This diaper cover closes at the waist with Aplix velcro for a fast change. It has velcro tabs for use while washing. Elastic at the legs and back contains messes much, much better than any disposable diaper. The center panel has 2 layers to stop leaks - this is a great cover for overnight!
You only need one diaper cover for every 4-5 fitted diapers.
