Instead of using traditional toxic wood glue, Plan has developed a completely formaldehyde-free glue. Plan Toys are finished with non-toxic, water based dyes that contain no heavy metals and are safe for young children. Even their packaging is recycled and printed with soy and water-based inks for environmental reasons, and their manufacturing plants run on alternative energy sources!
